So after doing a bunch of the new dungeon, and using a whole lot of mats/gold that I initially was grinding for awesome weapons skins.. and being the competitive player I am, I decided that I should work back up to 100% stats since this update.
Previous to this update, the best Rabid back slot (masterwork) gave stats as follows: 8, 8 12. When upgraded with a max stat gem, gave an additional 15, 15, 25. This gave a total of 83 stats.
Now, when the Best in Slot Rabid back slot out, the competitive player needs to work back up to 100% stats. The stats for this back slot are as follows: 17, 17, 24, 18, 18, 32, for a total of 126 stats.
All it took was a bunch of grinding, sacrificing my work towards awesome looking skins… and I was able to upgrade the stat of a single one of my Best in Slot items by 52%. This is not even including what this unused infusion upgrade slot might do.
Of course when the Best in Slot items for other slots are implemented, it won’t be as much of a hurdle, as those BiS slots will only be upgrading from Exotic to Ascended, but they still will have their BiS status trashed, and only additional grinding will replace your gear’s status of Best in Slot.
