I’m trying to make the Bifrost (without using the TP) and I’ve finally decided to tackle the dust collection. For those unaware, the Bifrost requires full stacks of T3-T6 dust. So, I’m wondering what the most efficient way to get T3-T5 dust is (again without using the TP.) Any advice not involving the TP would be great, thanks!

It’s made from scratch, so it holds more personal value.

I’ve noticed the sparks by the Shatterer area drop lots of dust, radiant and luminous (I think more luminous). For the crystalline dust, I would do the boss events and salvage the rares for ectos and then the ectos for the dust.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

This is sound advice. I’m just going to add, whatever you do will be less or even way less efficient then farming the gold and buying the dust off the TP. Time is a ressource, use it wisely.

I think the most common way right now to get tier 6 mats is just running the SW chest trains although it’s a pretty lame grind.

I know the sons of Svanir and grawl mobs there drop totems and blood, but it’s a bit of a mindless grind again, and heavily reliant on your magic find.

The Ascalonian Catacombs is something you should run every day as well. In addition to the ~1.55g+26s per path completion reward, the chests can drop any tier of dust. The mobs drop a lot of tier 2, which due to the low cost can be promoted. Use the money you get to buy anything you didn’t get.
