I was so excited about the Halloween events, and… fizzle and no pop.

Games are confusing (the maze is a kind of wtf?), the clockwork – by the time the pop-up window disappears you’re already in to your neck and have to respawn, there is no information about what to do and where to find stuff anywhere.

As I was told before not to say anything about the devs, I’ll refrain from it, and say only this: since I came back to GW2, I spent way more than I would have spent on a P2P game. So guess what? I am (like all the other players) paying those devs paychecks, so I’d like a better product for my money.

Now I have no expectations for the Winter event.

It’s always been like this. People usually assume Dulfy has a new page up when new content comes out. It’s stupid but what do you expect, it’s been two years and it hasn’t changed so why would it now?

Lunatic Inquisition does take a bit to get used to. But the PvE labyrinthe is simple enough. And the Clocktower is a jumping puzzle – if your being sent back by the time you finish reading the instructions, then you’re either a slow reader, popping in at the wrong time (it’s got a peculiar timer) or you’re lagging with your loading – one of which is really ArenaNet’s fault.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

I completely agree, this is a copy/paste rehash of last year (which was bad) and I personally feel fun has left this is some time ago.

As I was told before not to say anything about the devs

I agree with you about referring to the devs, there is a strict deletion policy about unfavorable posts here. You can go to Reddit to see a better picture on this regard.

EDIT: You may see the impressions on Halloween 2013 to get a sense…

The Clocktower is crazy if you’re not accustomed to it, or having connection problems/lag, but it works perfectly fine for me, so when you’re experiencing it as intended, I can’t really say it’s unfair or particularly confusing.

I mean, maybe the PvP-style setup of it is confusing? I dunno what else there is to be confused about.

(I’m mostly talking about the Clocktower because it’s my favorite Halloween thing to do, and it was mentioned in the OP. I’m not sure what’s confusing about the other activities, either, but maybe I’m too accustomed to them to remember if it’s confusing at all.)
