Can we have a counter to Binding Roots yet? I mean, we’ve suffered this rubbish for 4 years and Jon Peters has gone so… maybe the new guy will feel differently?
You can dodge to not get hit by it, or remove immobilize. There is your counter

Do you mean Entangle? Binding Roots has a 20s recharge, 3.25s cast time and is from Avatar of Melandru which has a 3 minute recharge with a 20s duration.
The vines are destroyable, not sure how much more counterplay one can add to the game.
