Many players who have been here a while don’t necessarily have a use for 16 Queen Jenna’s and 16 scrolls of Experience that can only be used on chars under level 20. This means our gifts really just end up being inventory warmers.

Suggestions: Use Queen Jenna’s and Experience Scrolls in Mystic forge for other goods.

Example: 3 Experience Scrolls and 10 Mystic Coins gives you 1 Great Experience Scroll. Great Experience Scroll levels a character to 50 or 60. I mean lets be honest. If they have enough chars that have had their Bday that they have enough scrolls and such to waste, I think they’ve earned a free level pass for another few levels. Just make sure that the rewards aren’t RNG but are predefined Mystic Forge Recipes, like the ones you had for Halloween. Just my 2 cents. Also make all the items received from the forge account bound as well.

I also suggest that a free bag extension might work as a bday thing too? I mean if I’ve been here a year on that char…I soooo deserve more bag space. (Or make this one if they have donated on that account then each char gets a free bag slot on their bday… Yes EVERY bday…)

It seems obvious that the birthday gifts were designed to be account based. The letter you receive even references your account activation, not character creation. The gifts also seem odd for something to give to EVERY character. No one needs several Queen minis and level 20 experience scrolls. I might as well not have rerolled/played most of my alts (who are 1-17 or so), I could have just made them on day 1 and had them be level 20 today.

I’ve always disliked the character based birthday gifts because it discourages rerolling characters, I had high hopes that ANet was taking a better route with this when the datamined mails were discovered referencing your account activation anniversary.

Anet spit in the face of people like me who can’t keep a char for more than 1 month and then they spit in the face of those who keep all their chars from the beginning -_-

Ummm the point of giving each char the same Mini is so that each and EVERY one of those chars can have them on their person and have them out on display if they choose without having to put it in the bank and transfer to other alts all the time.

Can’t you guys just thank Anet for this convenience!?

you serious your supposed to waste a bag slot on one mini on every char when you can put them in the bank. you must stay in towns a lot and not need those slots. everytime i go out i salvage a tons of stuff plus have to clear my bags from salvaged materials several times no room for meaningless mini on my travels. great idea op hope they do something hate having 4 extra minis in the bank oops now its 9 because they regave the b-day gifts plus a 10 in a few days cause i wanted to reserve names and bought an extra slot to get that 6th name reserved after headstart

How is it fair that those who got their Gifts before today gets another ANet? I mean I honestly don’t care about 2 of the gifts (I don’t do Minis and I’m lvl 80 already so a lvl to 20 scroll is useless), but I do like the booster, mainly for WvW

So why do some characters get 2? I’m not fussed about multiple based on Alts, that’s fair game, but multiple Gifts on Characters?

Yeah, after a year I really feel special, lol.

I have 147-ish bag slots on each and every char, 1 slot really is nothing. I send my crafting mats to bank through the handy inventory option that they have given us. Also if my bags start to get full I simply visit a nearby merchant (which there are plenty of in every map) and sell all blues/greens and salvage whites and then once again send the mats to my bank.

What the problem is?

I actually agree with it … The first point is a little more difficult to parse, b/c it’s not actually related directly to the Minis but rather rerolling in general…
