Is it me or is this npc new? I found her at lions arch today. Upon speaking to her, received a title and an achievement.

Yes it’s a new vendor. Guild Wars 2’s 2nd birthday is at the end of the month, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that, I hope some kind of birthday celebration event and stuff happens!

There’s been a couple of threads recently surmising what might be in the 2nd birthday.
With the inclusion of the birthday vendor in LA hopefully we’ll be getting some form of voucher or token to select our prezzie from a selection of gifts rather than getting 12 Queenie minis like last year!

Am I supposed to have something or give her something? I didn’t get anything from her.

The Birthday Vendor is an NPC located in Lion’s Arch’s Grand Piazza, to the northwest of Lion’s Court. Characters that are at least one year of age can speak with her to be awarded the Loyal title, the first tier on the birthday achievement track.

Title:
Loyal Have a character reach 365 days old. Use /age to check age

Do it on a character you created more than a year ago.

Yep, I got a title and 1 achievement point.

Me, too. But, as titles are Account-bound, even your newly created key-farmers can be ‘Loyal’. Lol.

Even I have to ask, why? At least I spread mine out over multiple accounts. Which yeah, is biting me in the butt with all the account binding in game now.

Sure wish they whould have based this on account age, not character age. My account is exactly 365 days old today, but my oldest character is only 360 days or so — since I deleted my first character a week or so after I first started playing.
