Do we know yet whether the birthday gift system (I assume there will be one) is based of character age(like gw1) or account age?

I ask this because I made the mistake in GW1 of constantly remaking my characters and in turn, missing out on years of decent mini pets from birthday gifts… and now I have that urge again to remake some characters already but I’m quite hesitant this time.

I think its just been generally assumed. I haven’t read anything stating otherwise and I see no reason why not. I guess a majority of us will find out in August. :x

And I had the same issue in GW1 with remaking characters. Actually I’mpretty sure even in this game I will only have my main that will recieve a gift on the anniversary since I remade my alts A LOT.

I just buy slots if I want to make a new alt.

No idea if they even will give us birthday gifts tbh. But on the off chance that they do I made all my 8 chars (one of each class) on day 1 of early release. So if it is like GW1 at the earliest anyone can get gift’s I should recieve 8 of em.
