I am dissapointed in this weekend sale. I bought 1000 gems especially for this, hoping maybe I get the Black Lion Salvage Kit or even Keys at a low cost (putting 25 keys at 1650 or smth gems, I don’t call that a sale, why didn’t they put the 5 keys or 1 key at a lwoer price… rip off) but what I got was the ressurection orbs.. that chest of fun, rofl, and random boosters, when they already have a booster pack. Why not put the booster pack on sale then you can put more items on sale. Nooo, let’s take every booster and put it on sale… Sorry. Just dissapointed.

I bought transmutation stones. That’s pretty much the only thing I use. I might get boosters now though.

I agree. I was hoping to see a sale on the digital deluxe upgrade since the DD itself is on sale for the same price as the regular version of the game. Minis or Dye Packs would have been great, too.

Yeah, it was weak for all the hype, but that seems to be the trend. Hopefully they will improve as time goes on.

I´m relieved. Had a lucky dye drop to sell on the TP juust before BF and managed to buy some gem wondering why they were so high.
Would´ve really kittentinkled me off if that character slot had been on sale this weekend.

As for the sale itself.
Meh, not bad for a first time sale.

LotRO has these all week long slowly rotating through their stuff.
Guess ANet isn´t that desperate (or savvy) yet.

Yeah well it was the BLACK FRIDAY… if u get what I mean…. I`ll shall just wait for Christmas.. maybe I get lucky lol

I was really hoping for the armor skins, repair canisters, minis, or booster multipacks, or perhaps even banks slots, character slots, even the deluxe upgrade. But this was just disappointing. It felt like a ‘get rid of the junk nobody wants’ type of sale. And only three items a day… very, very disappointing.

The Gem store in this game is really being mismanaged. In GW1 the biggest sale items were costumes and character re-customization. Character re-customization doesn’t exist and the costumes were kitten. The town clothes costumes don’t really do anything so no one bothers with them outside of holiday events. After the Halloween event debacle, no one who isn’t brain damaged is going to bother with the RNG chests.

Pro tip for the “Monetization Manager”: What worked in Maple Story isn’t going to work in GW2. Maple Story was free to play. GW2 is Buy to Play and houses a much older demographic age wise. Most of us won’t be tricked by these obvious cash grabs. Do better research. Look at what GW1 did. I have to tell you, I’ve been dying to re-customize my characters. That means I’d pay money to do it. Why isn’t this available as an option yet? Where are the armor skins that don’t look like they’ve been made by an intern?

Psh, back friday sale. What a farce. It’s good only if you had spared gems.
Sure, discounts on the gem store but… gem/gold conversion skyrocketed to 1 gold and 30 silver per 100 gems.
Unless you’re buying with real money this sale doesn’t change a thing.
