Fully agree … since its now known basically what items you have a chance of getting out of BL chests. Its a gamble either way , but you cant really complain that your getting items that dont pertain to you. What a waste of a vantage point if you asked me pffft. Some of us should be so lucky …. shame on you.

you can just sell them to vendor, you get back basically what those exotic weapons cost on TP minus the fee

Can’t sell account bound items
Just as an extra, if you ever buy any future expansion, HoT will come free with it.
You can sell the fragments to a vendor, so they aren’t completely useless at least.
For future reference, if you right click and preview a BL chest (or any festival chest and certain champ boxes), you can see the full range of possibilities. That will allow you to make a decision on whether you wish to gamble or not. I suspect they wont be programming chests to detect what content you have.
Those ticket-things you can, for 50s each.
I’m in the same boat with my alt accounts. I’ve made a point of doing absolutely no upgrades to those accounts. Plus, for me at least, one account with access to everything is more than enough.

They should give us a black lion trading guy to trade in items not are of no use to a person like they allowed us to trade the harvesting tool from soul bound to account bound.
That is a good idea, about a black lion trading guy. I have multiple copper fed savage kits that are useless now that we have shared inventory.
Amazing that people think the game should revolve around people who do not continue to support the development of the game.

A quick perusal of the Wiki will tell you exactly what is offered in each Seasonal Black Lion Chest. If you would not be happy with a possible reward from the Chest, postpone using the BL Keys until the BL Chest has only those things on offer you desire.

I don’t own HOT and never will. It is very stupid that we get items out of black lion chest pretaining to HOT. I never will be ever to turn these items in. What a waste of keys.
Just FYI: there is now a Preview function for BL chests that allows you to see all the things that are possible to get from one. That will help you decide whether it is worth it or not.
