Black Lion Enemy with Consortium?
Yeah I am curious about this too, I was thinking about this too the other day I just got too lazy to post :S
The Black Lion Trading Company, I imagine, is like the Consortium and trying to make as much profit as possible! The item might have a Consortium related name, but if the BLTC can sell it instead they will. It makes them a profit AND keeps the money out of their competitor’s hands.

BLTC is like EBAY and the Consortium is like some random EBAY store.
In the end they’re both subsidiaries of Arenanet lol
