Does anyone know the % chance you have to get a black lion key for exploring a map as opposed to transmutation stones?

The wiki says either of these two are possible rewards. but doesn’t say the chances.

Posting individual results is fine from your own completion is fine, but I’m more interested in if there’s an official drop rate given or calculated by someone who has the data, as individual luck will make large differences from one person to another.

I don’t think anyone has the %, I’ve only gotten a couple keys from map completion. I think you get one early, maybe lvl 10 or so.

Best way to get keys is the jewelry turn-ins for commendations.

How can i get Lionguard Lins to offer me items for sale? When I talk with her it’s just a looping conversation.

You need to have the commendations in your bag to see her offerings.

Get those by purchasing the package item from Miyani, then put package and jewelry in the Mystic Forge to get commendations.

BLCs are a giant waste of time and money. You’ll get a couple of boosters, a potion or 2 and a gathering implement.
None of these things will be of any real benefit to your game experience. You would be better off selling your chest and trashing your keys
