Hello All,

Back in May of this year I queried support asking: “Why is there no way to input numbers when buying items from Black Lion Merchants?”

This ability to input specific numbers is available elsewhere. The answer was that Black Lion Trading uses HTMl, with the inference that you cannot accomplish this in HTML.

I dabble in web programming and have done so since HTML 1.0. There have always been user input boxes, called “white boxes”. They are called “alpha” or “alpha numeric”. The alpha accepts letters from a – z or A- Z only and the alpha numeric accepts numbers, symbols, punctuation marks, etc.

When I wish to purchase more than one of an item and less than two hundred fifty the slider bar is useless.

The person who answered the initial query asked me to post a question in the forum so I did. I

I did and do not expect a reply, but it would be nice to not have to spend monies on items I do not need and also be able to purchase more than one at a time. Further, some items I want to purchase in quantity are expensive.

I look forward to this being rectified in a future update.

Bit puzzled by this Michella…since you can already enter purchase quantity by typing into the quantity box instead of just using the slider bar. Just click in the quantity box and type directly how many you want, or use the small up/down arrows to the right of the quantity input box.

If your not seeing or not able to use those features, maybe try support again?

The Trading Post? Trading Post NPCs? Black Lion Specialists? Evon’s employees? This event NPC: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Merchant? Some other merchants?

I’m confused about which one(s) is/are broken?
