For those flash sales (like the wings that were only one day). There should be a black lion mobile app for iOS/Android that allows the following functions:

1.) Buy Gemstore items for yourself and friends right off your phone (can support apply pay)
2.) Search and check the price of trading post items
3.) Sell items and materials in your bank from your phone
4.) App can double as a mobile authenticator once linked to an account
5.) Latest Gw2 news
6.) View ranking/leaderboards
7.) Message or send mail to friends/guildmates that are online

So, is direct interaction with the TP still allowed though? I’d like to manage my transactions and especially add new ones while in university, where I can’t run GW2 on my netbook.

Selling has always required a game client. Buying now requires a game client as well. Neither of those are likely to be exposed via the API any time soon.

Those restrictions could be worked around with a really convincing fake client, but I’m pretty sure that’s against our TOS.

So i doubt that it will become a feature anytime soon.

2. IS already possible via a number of apps, some even let you utilize your trading post API key, so you can check if you are outbid or undercut on your bids and listings.

7. Is in the works but not sure when its released. Some of the guild API info will be released before HoT but offline guild chat will probably take a while longer.
