Are the Black Lion kits not given out anymore?….I can’t remember the last time I got one. I use to get them all the time.
Maybe its just bad luck…….or are they not giving them out anymore?

I got one from my daily today, they still drop.

Well that’s good. I refuse to buy them. I’ll use the mystic salvage kit if I have to.
Not quite as good but at least I don’t have to use real money.

I get them quite often…I must have 30 in the bank and various characters.

Same. And I also got one a few days ago, so they still drop.

They are what I normally get, last count I had 25 of them, with half in my bank.

I have 30 or so of those things also. I get so few exotics that even with low RNG acquisition I accumulate them faster than I use them.

Bad luck. You just don’t have a big enough personal sample size to tell.

Let’s say there’s a 1% chance that you get a BL chest from the login reward. You get 1 chance every week, which means 52 chance/year. Roughly, you’d have only a 40% chance to end up seeing at least 1/year at that rate.

To do a good job of estimating the real drop rate, you want at least 20 successes, which means over a year’s worth of data (if only one person is collecting it).

tl;dr the fact that you haven’t gotten one in 3-4 months just means you are having slightly worse than average luck (not even particularly bad luck).

I seem to go through phases where I don’t get any at all for months, then suddenly I’ll get 2 or 3 in a row from the login rewards.

I’ve been getting them regularly of late to the point where I’ve been stacking a few in my bank.

I’m surprised the salvage kits aren’t a slot system like harvesting tools. One where you work your way up to better kits and buy a unlimited kit for 1000 gems.
