Let’s say, you just completed the Auric Basin meta and it’s time to collect all the goodies. After opening a few chests, your inventory is now full. Now you have to, one by one, sell items on the Black Lion Market. It is very time consuming. Right CLICK “Sell at Trading Post”, CLICK “List This Item”, OR CLICK in Current Sellers because you got the “! The minimum unite price is (price)”, warning. Couldn’t it just be set at a selling price to begin with??? Then after that, CLICK “SUCCESS: Your item has been listed for sale. You can view the order status or cancel the order in the Transactions tab”. Then to top it all off, if you are selling, too many items at once, you are penalized by “ERROR: You have placed too many sell orders too quickly. Please wait a few minutes before attempting to sell again”. UGH WHY!?!?!!? Why is our time wasted by obnoxious clicking? Why are we put on “time out”, for selling too many items. Very, very frustrating. I would love to see batch selling become a real thing! An option to sell everything in a bag, all at once. I think it would save a lot of time and frustration, by all.

Or batch buy orders. I could find some use in that.

The time out is a technical limitation.

Remember: the trading post we see covers all players on EU and on NA servers.

Imagine what would happen if too many players batch sold things on the trading post at roughly the same time. We may end up with a non-working or very very laggy trading post like we had when the game first launched.

Not in my case as it’s generally minor runes that are the worst offenders which I get by salvaging. I wouldn’t mind being able to salvage runes, though.

Runes and junk items are something I would love to have as a vendor all button no matter where you are. Hit the button in the middle of nowhere and off they go to a vendor and the coppers go into your wallet.

Not likely though. Too convenient.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

The time out is a technical limitation.

However, the annoyance it causes can be avoided by virtually managing the inventory. Instead of posting directly, transactions are queued on the client’s side.

Personally, I used to rewrite the trading post before v2 released, and this was one of its features, including the ability to sell items with a single click. It’s unfortunate that ArenaNet doesn’t actually support doing this or addons in general, since so many things could be fixed or improved.
