Is this ever coming in game? It was announced a long time ago, and my bank would love to get rid of these things, and the “other” items from past LS stuff.

“Trading
Rumors tell of a merchant interested in items from major events in Tyria’s recent history, including Blade Shards. Players are encouraged to hold on to these items if they are interested in trading with her when she appears.”

It wasn’t really announced was it? I just remember an Anet post mentioning it but it was never actually added. Maybe it was planned by an individual dev but no one higher up could press the green button so it was lost to the wind.

It was a “Rumor” after all.

I figured since it was in an actual game update note, they would actually put it in game before everyone forgot about it. Silly me.

That would make sense. Granted, I don’t remember when that patch came out, month wise. Thought it was fall. Long time to wait.

If SAB has taught us anything, its that the Bazaar will come back when it feels like it.

This is what I’ve been assuming.

If the time we have to weight is any indication of how much the Shards will be worth, I’m gonna be rich! However, I guess they can only dissapoint us after, what, 3 months?
