Have they mentioned anything about putting the merchant back in? I was on hiatus during the event that had him and I’ve still got 800+ of the things clogging up my bank. Why put the merchant in a temp zone? Boggles my mind.

Not that I’m aware. Those who got the node, in their home instant, are still getting those shards too. On occasion at least. Last time we saw him was at the Festival of the Four Winds.

Might return around that time, if that area didn’t go Lion’s Arch too.

I thought the vendor will only trade you some green gear.

I dont’ know why you would do that though.

If it’s me, I’ll just craft another back piece.

I used mine to craft 4 ascended back pieces for my alts. I even unlocked all the different colors, when cores weren’t too expensive.
