Guild Wars 2

So I know I can’t get them normally through the living story since it’s over, but I was wondering what’s the best way to get them now? I’ve noticed I can get them from my sprocket generator once per day if I’m lucky, and also through the Aetherblade fractal.

Any tips?:)

don’t really know.it happened to be a drop in wvw.maybe it was from a champ bag but not so sure cause i don’t take notice of my drops until i’m checking my inventory

There’s a recipe in the Mystic Forge to make Blade Shards. You need at least one to actually make more of them. You can see how to do it here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blade_Shard

You can also get them from the Aetherblades in the jumping puzzle in Gendaran Fields, and also from EotM.

Pointless recipe as this requires you to have the sprocket node in your home instance. If you dont have that, you cant create blade shards unless you want to buy them off the TP.

Not really. Farming gold is easier than farming sprockets.

I actually experimented with this, as I had missed the last living story but adored the back item.
I farmed the jumping puzzle for 2 days and received… 1 shard. (am I unlucky?) I also roamed EotM, both by myself and the zerg train, and didn’t receive a single drop in multiple days.
My recommendation: if you have 1 shard and the money to sink into it, drop them in the mystic forge. I usually get 12-17 a pop. As you can see, it’ll get absurd.
