Blocked list
Don’t stalk those you block.
I don’t have opinions. I only have facts I can’t adequately prove.
Why is the blocked list allowed to see where someone is? Why can’t they just be permanently gone?
Because they didn’t think of all the ways in which people might use the /block list. Fixing anything in the game requires dev attention, QA time, etc; this one is probably lower priority than other things, so it might not get fixed for ages.

I don’t think they thought it through. They must have thought in terms of chat only and not about people stalking others.

From one perspective I can see utility in knowing where somebody is who’s on your blocked list. It means that if you really have a problem with a person, you can avoid the maps where they are.
Admittedly, this is a bit extreme. A person would have to have a very significant problem if they felt they had to avoid entire areas to stay away from a blockee… it would be bordering on unhealthy paranoia.
And yes, there are definitely more negative implications to this than positive.
