If you put a bloodlust sigil on your UW weapon, stack bloodlust on land and then unequip the land weapon with bloodlust you will keep the stacks. Is that intended?

Could be intended to keep you from losing your stacks any time you touch water. Or just a simple byproduct of the equipment / sigil system, whereby underwater weapons are still considered equipped even when you’re on land and as long as you have 1 weapon equipped with a stat-stack sigil it won’t be removed.

The system probably doesn’t remember which exact weapon you got bloodlust with.

I tested if you could keep the stacks when using a Sigil of Bloodlust of lesser quality on the underwater weapon, and the stack goes away. Therefore you need the same quality on your underwater weapon.

Oh my dear god please, PLEASE don’t give them ideas. This is all we have left before stacking weapons are completely removed from PvE.

It is pretty obvious it is not intended, they made these changes to prevent the “stacking weapon swap out” thing.

The real question is, will they do something to prevent this?

So what? I play in water to get my 25 stacks, I have no stacking land weapon equipped, I’d have to lose my stacks?

Unless they put some overcomplicated rule about it or remove all the stacks anytime any weapon is changed, they won’t do anything about it. They thought about something, they tried to do something, they lost.

How would you fix it? Really.

I’m sure it will be patched out and they’ll ban anyone who “abused” this.

if you were smart you wouldnt post this on the forums. all you accomplish is giving devs reasons to destroy the game even more.

If they do that, they’d probably also have to ban any rangers smart enough to use the same system to keep amphibious ranger pet names when switching out pets. It’s probably the same mechanic.

Which I very highly doubt is going to happen, because they’ve done nothing wrong.

About as intended as 6 signet warriors.
