Is there a list of shark spawn areas for Mt. Maelstrom? I swear I’ve swam all over the map and found 3 sharks, one of them a vet. It seems like it would be impossible to farm enough of them to spawn a crazed mob.

How is this supposed to work? With out organization and map wide interest, can I still do this content? Am I really that late to the party?

This is frustrating.

There are also alot more sharks in Frostgorge Sound (the whole river running from the west to the northeast).

The event was tuned for zerg play, and now that it’s been months since, soloing it means you have to kill dozens of the mob-species yourself in hope of spawning the legendary creature. I suggest you try finding a squad of people doing this on the weekends.

I found the most sharks right over on the eastern edge of Mount Maelstrom, near the Inquest base. There weren’t many but you don’t need a lot. Even 1 will work, just keep killing it until the crazed one spawns.

I think I found 3 or 4, I swam up the edge of the map killing each one and I was just turning around to start back down when the crazed one spawned beside me.

The hardest part was trying to get people to understand that there wasn’t a waypoint right on top of the event so the one I pinged was the closest and they would have to run from there to the event.
