Bloodstone Fen portalscroll
I imagine it was created so alts did not have to complete the story instances to access the map, should they choose not to.
Not everyone wishes to complete the first two (or so?) chapters up to 70 times.
Ah yes, those giant batallions of gather-characters. Therefore it is useful indeed. Fine for me.
Probably because people were farming map completion there in under 4 mins on newly created chars.
Since there is no other portal to the area from any adjacent map and you have to pay the way point fee each time if you go into Bloodstone Fen. I usually go to my guild hall and way point from there as it is one of the cheapest options. So having the portal is probably a good idea. You can farm the 1000 unbound magic fairly quickly just doing a couple rounds of events and flying to collect the unbound magic in the air. Killing NPCs also gets a good amount of the magic as well.
Bug Fixes
The Bloodstone Fen Portal Scroll can now only be used by level-80 characters.Snowblind Fractal:
…Why did you add the item to the game, if you limit its use to characters who can travel there via waypoints anyway?
.
cause anet didnt expect that people will abuse the item for the ulitmative blc key farm
and with the hot fix and use only for 80 ish character they closed this exploit or better say they stopped players to use an unintented way to get ca$h shop content (BLC keys) ingame

Well I’ve done map completion with two characters so far and only got transmutation charges instead of Black Lion Keys. So key farming is not guaranteed.
League of Omnipotents [Omni], Fort Aspenwood
This change makes me sad. Not because I may miss out on some keys (honestly, I’m surprised that the zone would give them for mapping), but because it was fun to just fly in parts of the zone.
I took a level 40 there, and had fun seeing how much magic I could grab out of the air before something (just about anything, really) would spot me and shoot me down. I don’t have Ley Line gliding, and therefore can’t get the last flying skill for the zone. It made it a sort of flying stealth mission, where touching down for even a moment was a huge risk, but sometimes unavoidable. It gave a bit of zone currency and Exp as well, so it didn’t feel like I was just wasting my gaming time.
If there’s a good reason to lock out lower level characters, then I understand that it must be done. I just hope we get an equally interesting flying area for all levels, sometime soon. (Tengu city, perhaps?)
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
