We all have waypoints we use frequently for things like boss events (Swamplost, Queensdale) or mining quartz (Prosperity, Dry Top) or maybe just your home instance.

So, imagine if there was a list you could pop up of your last 10 recently used waypoints. Or maybe a list where you could choose 10 of your favourite waypoints. Or both. Just a thought.

How long does it take you to find your frequently used WPs on a map? Not long, I’m assuming. Now, you have to weigh the level of effort requires to change the UI and implement this change just to save you a second of your time.

No.

You’re entitled to your opinion but I admit I was disappointed when you made that same old stale argument that’s trotted out whenever a QOL issue is raised in these forums. I was going to discuss that argument in depth because it annoys me but I think it would be as unproductive as the argument itself.

Ultimately, suggestions are a core aspect of these forums. Some ideas are good, some ideas are bad. Some ideas start out crude and get refined by discussion. Anet reads our ideas and implements what it considers worthwhile and profitable. We can make guesses as to what ‘level of effort’ is required or whether it’s worthwhile, but that’s a waste of time. To paraphrase another saying, we make our suggestions and let Anet sort it out.

I’m happy to debate my suggestion with you. I want to hear your opinion but honestly that last comment was a little empty of content. You just assumed a bunch of stuff and called it a day. It didn’t do anything for either of us, except maybe let you vent some steam if that’s what it was. If you feel like a discussion, or if you want to vent some more, please feel free to write again, but I can’t promise you a good conversation unless you give me something to go on.
