Bored of GW2
Well a new patch just launched with new stuff to do. I’m not sure how you made it to L89 though, must be a bug.

I think he was typing bout mastery, but w/e
@EverGrand if you want a legendary then pick the one you want to get first and just start on the collections. As long as you have the collection unlocked you can progress through it at your own pace and pick up materials that you will need while doing so. You likely have a lot more gold than you think tied up in mats and other items that you can sell if you want to buy mats for your legendary as well.
Gw2 is about making your own goals and working towards them. Whether those goals are as ambitious as a Legendary, or as humble as exploring a zone.
We can’t make goals for you, only you can decide what you find fun
You can always just stop playing for a while. I’ll just be logging in every couple of weeks to get the new LW episodes but I probably won’t actually play them for a couple of months until the urge strikes me.
In this game I just do PvE but with 20 characters I never get time to get bored.
In other games where I have done PvP, playing the same old maps with the same old tactics I have gotten bored. I would say diversity is the key, but I don’t get time for much of that here, lol.
There are always something to do really. Might try a small break, maybe create a new char and level it with someone new and teach them. I find that fun when I get stale.
I’ve enjoyed GW2 for nearly 4 years now. My secret? If in a play session I get bored, I stop playing, and don’t return until I think it might be fun to do so. So far, breaks have ranged from a day to 6 months.
I also know people who set goals for themselves in the game. If you’ve done that and gotten everything you might want, then maybe taking a break is in order. It’s very possible to get burned out on a game, and breaks are also good for getting over burn-out.
