…Seriously.

Can you tell I’m a Thief? lol.

….But seriously.

I don’t get the reasoning behind this, especially on DPS-checks like Teakettle. It’s just a way to force players into buying two sets of gear — or having their DPS fall to almost nothing. I don’t get the point of it, it shouldn’t be in the game at all from my perspective. It’s incredibly frustrating, and I won’t do Teakettle or any other world boss that’s classified as an object until it’s changed.

(P.S.: Little, unnecessarily-annoying things like this really detract from the game for me. It’d be such an easy fix… unless someone has a good reason they should be uncrittable?)

Run a condition thief. Then you have a right to complain.

Whats wrong with getting a 2nd stat set?
Isnt it boring to run the same build all the time?

Concerning Teq: if you are a zerker thief, protect the turrets from the mobs.
If you are a condi thief, get on a turret.

If you want to go close to Teq and do direct damage, get pvt gear and a weapon of undead slaying or run a support build to buff those that actually have the decency to gear up for defeating Teq.
Otherwise you bring nothing to the table with your selfish gameplay that would entitle you to get any loot from him because others have to pick up your slack.

If you check my last sentence, it is basically the same statement zerker builds made about people that brought mf gear into dungeons.

As a thief myself, I collect new stat sets of gear like each one I have is going out of style. Up to full armor sets of berzerker, PTV, clerics, carrion, and I’m up to 3/6 celestial. I also switch my spec around a fair amount. Although, I can’t seem to not put at least 20 points in Shadow arts. I’d put 40 points in Shadow Arts if I could; there’s just too many traits in there that are too useful. How in the kitten are you supposed to cure conditions off you without “Cure a condition every 3 seconds while in stealth”?
