And I’m not talking about suspected botters (which there are plenty of shady characters camping event areas). I’m talking about blatantly obvious ones swarming the low to mid level zones farming whatever happens to be easy mat droppers. And by obvious, I mean 20 rangers all with 4 letter random names, bear pets, never-changing patrol routes, identical looks/equipment/skills, and simultaneous skill usage while roaming in pairs.

This is in Sanctum of Rall, but if there are botters here, I’m sure there are plenty in the other servers.

Dont forget the teleporting !

I’ve actually seen a bot recently that no longer has to teleport for a few reasons and and is now virtually independant to actually gather resources in its routine.Even jumps fences =P

It doesn’t change at high levels, they are everywhere. Go to the camps in Cursed Shore that have events and you will find them teleporting all over them.

This really needs to be addressed. I was bored and reported one, watched it for 4 hours while watching a movie on my second screen and it never ot taken care of, it was even back the next day. Does Arena even care anymore?

OMFG why isnt arenanot permabanning these bots immediately?? Obviously they dont care about their loyal customers and favor botting and punch babies

Usually, they do care. My guess is they’ll try to find signatures for bots and then ban them all in a major wave. It has a much bigger impact on player, if they post a blog post on this subject saying they banned 1xxxx number of bots permanently than slowly removing bots one by one.

Of course I don’t work for ANet, but they care about their game as if it was their baby. Sometimes they lack skill or view on the big picture, but they will protect it and their community.

Kessex Hills, where the centaurs are trying to repair the bridge… there’s always at least 15 to 20 characters sitting there pressing 1 over and over again, for days at a time.
