I reported a day ago about bots lvl`ing. But checked right not and they still farming/lvl`ing… I`m not surprised that support here is a bit fail

I got ticket for 6 days without answer and not this bots report…

Don’t worry, they’ll get to them. It took a few days for the character I reported to disappear, but it has. Best thing you can do is report the player to exploits@arena.net.

are they getting perma banned?

there are hundreds of bots … i cant even keep up with all the reporting. ArenaNets gotta do something… its ruining the economy….

Getting rid of “Bots” for good is nearly impossible. GW1 still has them, WoW still has them…Just about EVERY online game still has them. Smash one, another just takes it’s place. I’m sure A-net is working on it as best they can.

reported so many of them and still nothing this is getting out of control and in the cursed shore its absolutely horrible

It takes a bit as they like to confirm that each bot report. However, bots are the single most crippling thing about this game right now. They are the reason behind the drop in rewards. I hate them with a fiery passion.

But they ARE apart of 99% of online games. ANet needs to handle them much more quickly and/or get some professional help from people who can take care of the issue.

Not even gonna bother explaining the bot report process. It’s a lot more complex than you might think, but it’s going to fall on deaf ears.

Also this thread appears on every other MMo forum too. You people don’t want an answer, you just want to complain.

Just went from the same spot, bots are still active and even new nicks saw there… No bans
Even this zone is High Lag now, don`t know if it`s because of bots or not but this zone is the only one where u have lags as hell!

The problem with banning bots is that others can get caught in the spree.

Maybe they’re waiting until Account Restoration is set up?

I agree with the guy above, you get this thread in every MMO. It’s an ongoing problem for every game, and to suggest that Anet aren’t aware of it and doing everything they can to counteract it is ludicrous.

It takes time. Plus also, Anet have a better overview of what’s going on. Sometimes they will deliberately let certain instances of botting go on till they build up a bigger picture and can snag organized attempts all at once. Also, they have to be wary of “false positives”.

If you have made the report, they will eventually be dealt with, it just takes some time. Opening threads likes this doesnt help the issue, so we would like to kindly ask you not to open them.
Besides, posting images/videos with names can be considered as harrassmenet/name calling/shaming and it is punishable.
