So i read your topic on what you are doing about bots and i say kudos to you. The only problem is I say BS. The same bots on blackgate have been there for weeks if not more. I know this to be FACT cause im there trying to farm and there always there, so I have to say you are full of crap if you think myself or any of my guildmates are falling for this. You seem to be able to find time to change peoples names which is laughable yet bots run freely without concern, got to wonder about priorities.

Ps They are there right now as im typing this. So why dont you go have a look and ban these bots immediatley?

I agree, you guys at Anet has lost the battle it seems.Look at Frostgorge Sound, just south of the yakkington trading post-there is a botstorm of between 20 -30 bots just milling around, every now and then they will go and sell stuff at the TP.Why must I spend my time on reporting this same problem daily?
I paid good money for my copy of the game- and to watch these guys makes my blood boil.It messes with my playtime- I get no rewards from this yet daily I log up to 30 botting cases.

Totally agree we need some form of update.

They are camping areas with SKILL POINT quests killing the bosses before i can kill them my self this is destroying any scene of achievement and fun from the game it is now harming players fun.

I reported 52 bots in the last few days alone, i started adding them to my friends list now and every single on is currently online again.

Saying your working on it is now not good enough, generic response looks like a we don’t care attitude especially now it is directly interfering with game play and questing..
Bots on Seafarer`s rest are now camping every where when leveling up.

Locking all bot threads and referring us to an old thread with no update is not reassuring any more.

Same, I have added the names of the bots to my friend list to see if they have acted on my reports, the same bots still continue after weeks of being reported. Even if they do suspend them or ban them the owners just log a complaint and deny everything and they get their accounts back.

Sadly going to have to agree =\ While I haven’t seen the same bots, I’ve seen way too many as in 6-10 groups of bots a day when I was roaming to 100% the world. In fact, recently I’ve been trying to transfer to isle of janther to play with a friend of mine bc dragonbrand has felt kind of dead, but can’t because it’s full pop. Seeing that and how all the other servers are listed as High pop or Full, I can’t help but wonder: how inflated the population is with bots….
