Botters still being banned?
Considering that these threads are against the forum rules and ultimately get deleted… why do you persist in creating them?
There are 10-15 bots on Sparkfly for the past 2 weeks on the same spot.
Not at all. On Baruch Bay, me and alot of people reported 5 botters but they are still doing it. I sent several reports but they don’t do anything about it.
It’s been over a week now, and they are still there. I have them on my friendlist.
I don’t think they’ve ever been banned. The same bots have been on my server for weeks in the same spot.

When botting persist like this and nothing is done, people are going to question.
Bots own this game.
Same, always report them but its frustrating when you are trying to do an event and you can’t even see the mobs, or tag them, before the bots kill them. I cant get credit on kills because of how much time it takes to render them. Just came here to open up a post when I saw there was one already.
So I get experience/loot from about 30% of them because AFKers are getting the same?
I think this has priority over avoiding Dungeons farming since you have to , At least, be active to farm the dungeons.
Don’t you just love how fast many topics get deleted because they are against “forums policies” but bots and gold sellers (to name a few of GW problems) are not getting banned/dealt with for weeks?
I wish the forum moderators that are so fast in closing topics would actually works as some kind of game masters and “close” bots and gold sellers also
No one would create such topics anymore. Problem solved for everyone.

Yeah, it gives you a hint as to what their priorities are. Obviously botters doesn’t harm ANet as much as it harms us, the consumers, but with threads like this it’s the other way around – thus all the deleting.
Didn’t start this thread as a bash toward ANET. Sad that it took that path. Was just wondering if they still had the strong anti-bot stance is all.
Game needs active server GMs
so many botters and afk’ing event campers everywhere
They ban hammer them but they just get more stolen CC’s / paypals and buy more accounts and start over because people always fall for the e-mail phishers likekitten
I’m a bad person, because I have no remorse for banning players stolen accounts that caved into buying gold/goods outside of official sources.
Besides, the rightfull owner has the option to appeal and reclaim with Anet. They need to be banned while they are stolen property tho.
Ban daily by server GMs please.
You know what is even more disconcerting? These bots teleport, fly, etc. Which means it’s only a matter of time before these exploits are used regularly in WvW / PvP.
I’m about to throw in the towel. If you don’t treat your brand new car well in the first month, I doubt you’re going to start caring later.
I already seen ‘flying’ hackers in wvw twice.
Step it up anet.
lol yup, already in WvW taking up queue space.
A fully functional PvP bot is almost done,it will need tweaking of coarse, but hey, without daily banning, they have the time to tweak it.

YEP every server, these bots are generating thousands and thousands of gold a day and yet anet = OK! we will watch.
they fix exploits why not bots? since exploits doesn’t equal gold inflation
