Bound waypoints to the account ?
It really only takes a few minutes to run everywhere. I like the exp that my alts get finding waypoints, I wouldn’t want them account bound. One trick is to get on the map a dungeon is on, have a friend open the dungeon, join it, and then you can walk out of the dungeon to get the wp. As for guild missions.. perhaps you can buy the gem store item that lets you wp to a friend. I got some from black lion chests and they’re really nice for alts.

Like Sparadrap in the noob web serie, I like level up just by walking around.
I like walking around and getting wps to level up an alt. I see no reason to make a change.
I like this proposal of account unlock for only the waypoints. Maybe the XP can be awarded when each one is visited?

If you still get XP for visiting them then why have them unlock when you can rediscover them and get the XP that way.
Sure this is just one thing but it would be one thing that would kill any interest in making a new character, for me at least. You say you shouldn’t have to grind for them again yet you would still have to “grind” to get the Points of Interests, Hearts, Vistas and Skill Points, so what’s the point having all the Waypoints unlock?
Also what would be the point to be able to warp a lvl 2 character to a level 80 area that’s fresh out of the training mission besides possibly having a lvl 80 character have them in their party to help them power level?
I like unlocking areas and waypoints on a new char and getting the exp for leveling. So, no thanks for me.
But if they make it a gem store item so those who want it can have it… However, it would most likely mean that any chars would not get the Gifts of Exploration after unlock which would be a problem if someone gets the account unlock and then changes their mind about wanting to craft a Legendary.

Exploring waypoints is part of fun, please don’t take it away.
