Its says its infinite. Does that mean every three times you do it, you get 5 achievement points, not just the loot?

Yes.

No. It’s capped at a total of 30 AP. Click on the achievement and hover over the +5 and you can see the limit.

You may well be right. I will know soon. I’m at 30, need one more for next level if there is one.

Part of me wonders if they’ll be like the “old” Shining Blade War Supplies – You can open them for a boost (or in GW2’s case, items), or you can trade them in for something better…

For any so called “infinite” achievement, there is a cap for AP. After u reach that cap, even if u continue repeating it, the rewards will be 0 AP.

To find out what the max number AP you can get from an achievement is, open the Achievements tab, go to an infinite achievement (this case bounty hunter), click on it to get the full window detailing it. In the left side where it’s written big “+5” Achievement Points, hover the mouse over that number. You will see xx/30. That means You have received +xx achievement points out of maximum +30.

Ex: i repeated the achievement 3 times now and got 5 AP for each. I am now at 15/30AP

I’m kinda glad there is a cap, since I’ve been forgetting to do it for about a week…
