I have to say whoever was in charge of thinning our the items in the TP should get a raise. With one fell swoop the mystic forge will weed out all the low cost items clogging up the TP and give players some nice items in return; after much work and a few coins.

With all the negative talk you are getting lately it is nice to know you were on the ball with this one. After this weekend maybe my crafted items will sell for better than cost.

The rewards for the tokens are not that great though.

Crafting tools – cheaper to just buy tools from vendors. Weapon skins are all very cheap unless you want the exotic version (forgot to check if the exotic skin is different from the cheap-o skin)

Unless there is another merchant somewhere I didn’t see, or they are adding more stuff, I can’t see it having a huge impact.

Umm, didn’t the recent removal of bots do it?

Poor craftsman blame their tools. Poor players blame their Engineer.

Well the removal of the bots helped, but Afaik the items they posted for cheap (to sell for gold) were still listed on TP. And even if they removed all items posted the odds that they got all the bots is slim. But kudos to them for thinning the herd.

As for the skins, I only looked at a few but they seeem to be the same regardless of quality, the brilliant part comes from the gathering tools and the salvage kits. With these being a 250 amount I will free up about 6 inventory slots that I used to carry these items in; traveling to get more when needed at 80 is way to expensive.
