Whether they have actually said that, I don’t know, but it’s hardly vague.
I would like to see all the sets which never came back after the release of the black lion set achievements come back eventually. Otherwise it would be unfair to add achievements for weapons which never were available for 1 ticket since the achievement was added.

Yeah, the current price of some of the older skins is absolutely ridiculous.
I hope no one is actually paying that amount for them…
if you look at the bids, the supply and the demand strongly disagree on the value of those rare skins. 3k g for that ugly aether staff is ridiculous. And the only guy who has it spent 150g just to list the skin!
They’re not permanently gone (probably) , but they will be off the vendor for quite a while. Long enough i wouldn’t even hazard a guess at a bring-back date.
Like any store, we’ll be regularly rotating out sets that are out of season or not popular to keep the vendor from overloading too many tabs.

I….gotta disagree. There’s far too many prestige skins as is, and very few players have a reasonable chance of ever buying them. Don’t see the point of adding things to the game where you’re screwed if you don’t get them right away.
Unfortunately for most of us, some very high end skins (like the Ghastly Grinning Shield) are quite unlikely to ever come back.
They have a role in the game – an aim for a player who plays the game a lot. This is a thing that Guild Wars 2 does not provide a lot of, and if they make rare/expensive skins a thing which is much more readily available, it will harm the game.

If there is a collection achievement for them, they should come back at least once per year. 3k per skin in a set of 19 weapons is outrageous.
