Be patient with me as I address a few concerns and suggest some ideas that I have collectively read over the years on the forums.

I normally do not post much on the forums as I peruse more so than anything and usually do not express my opinion unless something really is bothering me, so I urge the team to please read and hope other players do as well.

I understand the hardships, the balancing, the lack of staff, to keep a game flowing and to make the customer base happy. Similar to my profession that I have on the outside world, but a little background about me. I’ve been a gamer all of my life, and we all who have been gamers/consumers/devolopers, have a mature grasp and understanding what goes on with companies when they develop a game, publish it, and hope that will be a positive feedback —- I’ve been with GW2 from the start and anticipate it’s release and from the beginning I was very excited, presently I am, but I am a little shaky now, mainly because I am not seeing the game evolve as it appears to have been promised when the concept of this game started. I’ve played GW1, slightly enjoyed it, but WoW was more to my liking. However, the expansions and features you included into GW1, in my opinion revitalized it. They were innovative! Lacked a jump feature, but that is forgiven. But the point was, that the team came up with some great features and I thought to myself, this is outstanding work and if a concept for a next game comes up, the sky is the limit. You’ve hit the sky and stopped…….

Convince me, help me, in fact, selfishness aside, help all of us and yourselves, put the confidence back. I know that the small percentage of people who post here do not reflect everyone on the game, but consider that those who do post here, are post for considerable amount of player base in the game. Because, we all talk collectively on the game, our guild mates, new friends, friends on the outside that we would like to bring to this game, and we express our concerns and thoughts on how to improve this game.

A survey that has been brought up by other players for now and email to all players would be a great idea. I know the forums do the same when scanning, but get more in depth about it! You will find a consistent opinions of what people think;

More content — obviously (And let’s be honest, it needs it)
More interactions — (look, going to a lodge and actually sitting in chairs or a stool, makes a difference, trust me, the simple things in life are awesome)
Guild Halls/Player Houses
Mounts — (yes, we have waypoints, but mounts are just awesome, all of our armor and gear is very cosmetic base, why not have mounts?)
Capes — this has been said so many times, And I think it is manageable, again the simple things in life.

What is said, is rather small and trivial, but, to grander designs that people are suggesting, should give you a picture that we want me. I’ve been playing this game since the launch, I have yet to acquire a precursor, and let me tell you, it isn’t because I haven’t tried in vain to obtain, nor have I really want to grind, save up the gold, convert my gems to gold, just to spend it on a precursor, that is the easy way. I like to be able to craft it, win it, or by chance even get it, but that seems way out of reach. My luck is not the greatest on this game, even though it is high, but I digress.

I am saying this also, because, as players we do go to MMO’s, and when you draw ideas from other games, and then you say to yourself; “this is a good concept, but I can improve it”. I really hope you all are doing that. Because, some features that I’ve experienced in MMO’s I would love to see here in GW2? Why? Because I still feel that GW2 is the most superior out of all the other MMO’s I’ve ever played. This replaced WoW for me, because the combat, was actually combat. And not stand here, write a macro script, and just press one button on a boss, and pray for healers to time their heals right, or whichever. DULL. This game brought life, however, it appears to be waning.

Give us the confidence, what are you planning, what concepts do you have? It does not even have to have a green light for your ideas, but give us something to at least have some confidence that this game will continuously grow and be something for everyone!

I know you are already, but check these other newer MMO’s that are coming out, and challenge what features they are bringing! Enhance them! Become innovators again!

Anyways, I am off my soapbox and appreciate everyone taking their time to reading. Things on my mind and I wanted to share! Take care!

So much text just to hide another “giff mounts” thread ?

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

Its perfectly reasonable that you stopped reading after mounts, so you propably didnt see “giff capes” either.

So I agree that the game needs more content, interactions is not a bad idea, would definitely be great with guild halls.

But mounts are still a no, the game does not need mounts, nor do mounts fit in. The only acceptable “mounts” are those we already have (the broom and drill toys and the wvw siege golems).

This is not a bad post… some good elements, but can’t agree with all the wants.

As you said, obvious suggestion is obvious, but I agree nonetheless.

More interactions — (look, going to a lodge and actually sitting in chairs or a stool, makes a difference, trust me, the simple things in life are awesome)

Yeah, that would be nice, but very low priority.

Guild Halls/Player Houses

I totally agree with guild hall and that was suggested A LOT, kinda meh with player house, can’t really care about it.

Mounts — (yes, we have waypoints, but mounts are just awesome, all of our armor and gear is very cosmetic base, why not have mounts?)

No, just no.

Capes — this has been said so many times, And I think it is manageable, again the simple things in life.

If well done it will probably come along with guild halls, but also suggested A LOT already.
