What’s up with the endless waves of mobs in Brisbane Wildlands (Hidden Lake area, Seraph Observer Waypoint)? The WP is forever contested. Is there a way to clear the area, some event or something?

As far as I know that waypoint has been contested for over a year. Since I started playing. I may have not found it if there is one but I’ve not found any events that cause the endless mobs to stop coming and the waypoint to become uncontested. You can still waypoint to it from other maps I noticed. If you happen to have a little squishier lower level character they can take a pretty good chunk of your health too, or even down you before you get off the loading screen if it loads slow for you.

Maybe it’s stuck because the reinforcements never arrive? Broken and yet to be fixed?

I reported it as a bug a while back. The bandits with the bombs can be a real pain and the NPCs around there are almost always dead. It does seem like a broken event.

That event has been broken since the start of the game. I remember when I was still leveling a character back then, being taken by surprise by the endless stream of bomb carrying bandits and getting swarmed and killed when I attempted to clear the event.

This event has been reported as bugged since the start of the game and has had threads discussing it several times already. I have to admit I’m not expecting it to be fixed because of this thread either.

Is it ok to farm these bandits?

Within a reasonable limit, it should be fine. I wouldn’t expect much in terms of rewards; they’re just trash mobs, and kind of a pain.

Maybe with a party, it could be a fun place to use a Killstreak Experience Booster.

I should be writing.

You need to check loot price from tp and if they drop something expensive you shouldn’t farm these mobs.

There is no “reasonable limit.” Farm away till your heart’s content…..

You hit the DR pretty rapidly since they never stop spawning and it’s hardly worth the irritation with those ridiculous bomb spamming mobs constantly showing up.
