Broken elite specs
It really bums me out they made the elite specs so stronger. I would have bought the expansion regardless. I didn’t need or want blatantly broken specs to dominate the game just to sell boxes.
If they didn’t make the elite specs broken on purpose to sell boxes I would be shocked. It seems like a cheap, untrustworthy, lacking confidence way to sell a few extra boxes.
I wanted elite specs to add to the game not take it over.
And now the wait for the MMO-recommendation that does anything so much better begins…

I clearly remember GW1 with the expansions.

Hi, I was wondering when they are going to fix the overpowered elite specs. Pvp is completely broken right now.
There’s going to be a balance patch late January or early February.

I don’t buy the idea that they made elite specs OP just to sell more copies of HoT its kinda ridiculous if you believe that.
It happens a lot in MMOs when a new class or spec comes out the developers can look at what works and what hasn’t in the past and the new proff / spec comes out and makes the old ones look dated in mechanics and feel.
The problem is 10 new elite specializations and an entire new class is gonna kitten balance so hard . Furthermore you only have to give up a single trait line to use your elite specialization which gives you access to a ton of new skills i can’t see many circumstances when you will not wan’t to slot your elite even if they buffed old trait lines you give up way to much to not use your elite.
