I was wondering if there is any kind of buddy program in place.

Do you mean like Refer-A-Friend? Or maybe an in-game buddy to show you around and help you out?

Where I send an invite, of sorts, to someone and based on this “invite” they buy their own account and for doing so there is some kind of reward system in place.

Ahh, so Refer-A-Friend. Not that I’m aware of. There’s no trial either. Which if there were, I think ANet would greatly benefit from it.

K thnx

Something for Anet to think about….

An account feature where an invite gets sent to friend. The friend can then buy the game at a 10% discount and if that friend buys the game, the player who set the invite gets some Gems.

Sounds good to me. I have quite a few MMO friends that I would refer.

There have been trial weekends in the past. Rumor has it, there will be one next week, it being the end of the fiscal quarter and all…

The only problem with the trial weeks/weekends are all those nefarious accounts made that spam chat. If not for them, trials would be great.

Trials should have limited access, like in World of Warcraft. No chat, no trading, no guilds. Just make a character, test it to level 20, done.

Perhaps, they should. Sadly, they don’t.

I think a referral system would be an excellent idea to bring new people in. Provide a code for someone to be able to play the game for at least a few weeks and give the referrer some kind of reward depending on how the referral progresses.

FOR SKYRIM!!!!!
