One thing i really miss in GW is a quick and easy way to swap builds on the fly. Even if it had a 5 second cast time or something out of combat.

Reason i want this is because i really struggle to remember the builds i like and because of this i rarely change build. I just do a general one and run with it. Tabbing put and looking up what that other build i use was is so frustrating i end up not bothering. I dont mean the 10 bottom abilities i mean the specialisation trees.

A function to remember a few builds would not do this game any harm. Like i said, put a cast timer on it if it would ruin wvw or something but some people with good memories change specs in a couple of seconds anyway whilst running. Im just not one of them. Being put off to use different builds isnt a good thing though.

Thoughts? Most mmos do this and even mobas like LoL

We are asking for this for years. One time I suggest that anet can sells builds pages on the gem store. Each player could start with one or 2 build page and allow you to change your build with one click. And you can buy extra pages with gems.

That was like a year ago.

Ive seen this asked multiple times over the course of the couple weeks ive been playing, I cant imagine how many times its been asked over the course of three years.

I think you have to assume that after this much time they probably cant do it without massive developer investment into creating it, otherwise it would have already been added.

I (well, almost every player most likely) would LOVE this! My ele sometimes runs with a staff, sometimes with d/d. Various other changes to suit the situation as well. Right now I just keep to one or the other (and the same for traits, skills, and even what I am wearing) because it is usually to much of a pain and I know I will forget something.

Yeah, it would be great that we can do that. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this been asked over and over, but it would be nice to have this feature.

ANet should think about this seriously, with the release of HoT and now RAIDs this should be part of the game, and they can do it like @XPilo.5862 said, with gems, we’d love that no matter how.

Even though I only posted this 27 days ago, I had been thinking of build templates since launch.

I don’t know why it’s taking them so long to at least post on one of these threads…

I understand HoT is coming and there are things to do, but come on folks…. There are a decent amount of builds available at this time, and it will only increase with the release of the xpac.
