Build template
+1 for the templates. It took me a full month to remember the traits to switch my necro from power gs to viper. Every time I had to read all the traits again and make the choices again as if it were the first time. It is tedious and not necessary. Kind of breaks the fun, and I saw myself too lazy a couple of times to run a dungeon because I was still in viper build and did not want to go through the process of modifying traits to power gs…
I am totally backing you up on this one, even though ANet’s coding seems to be done with their feet, which apparently makes it very difficult to impliment such a feature in the game for the moment (too many different patterns which conflict with one another). But how great would it be to finally have something like this… I hope someday we’ll get to it.
Well we had build templates in guild wars 1 which were invaluable to me so I was disappointed when gw2 did not have this facility..
Another cross on the forum bingo chart.
Players have been asking for templates since release, A.Net even started to collect feedback about what should be included in the past (dunno exactly when, must be at least 1 year ago, probably even longer) – and then they put it back in the sideboard to collect some dust it seems.
tl;dr: A.Net is aware of many players wanting that feature, wether we will ever get it- only A.Net knows.

I’m sure one day they will. The more they change the trait/build page, the easier it becomes for them to add this. When the game was first launched we had to pay silver to reset our builds. Your build didnt switch from pve to wvw like they do now. It’ll just take them awhile, just like everything else did.
As for buying more bank space/bag space, it’d probly just be cheaper to buy a new toon slot, and let that one have 1-3 builds so your not overloading your main toon with 100’s of builds and the gear for it.
