Guild Wars 2

Pretty self explanatory. I am just returning to GW2 from release as I ding’d 80 then switched to DotA2 for a while. However now that I’m back, my builds are far out dated, and all the websites I find with suggested build templates seem to be far out dated. Where are you guys finding your builds?

I typically try many different things. But if your looking for a particular play style, try the Guild Wars 2 Class forums.

I look at what people have submitted on gw2codex.com and then make modifications to make the build I like better fit my playstyle.

i mostly read every tooltips and try to figure out a play style that i like, i try to avoid FotM builds (and recently dungeons).

Fact is that most of the guides i’ve read so far talks about pvp mostly, while i don’t care about that aspect of the game. I know, i’m minority :/

I make my own and test it out in the field, then make adjustments.

It’s like a good experiment. Sure you could always look at someone else research, but you wouldn’t get the same level of understanding from doing it yourself.

Buildcast at gamebreaker tv!! Cuz it’s better to watch a show than do icky homework.

I do experimentals in sPvP, unfortunately that causes my stats to go down pretty hard. Read, test, go against other players and see how well you do, figure out what went right and what went wrong, try one thing over the other to see what works best for whichever situation, observe what your opponent did that worked well against you, mitigate, adapt, evolve.
