I’ve been holding onto this last step for months now, not knowing what last effects my choice will have. I’ve read the wiki article and it still is not clear to me. Can anybody please explain to me the difference between the choices? Of course, I mean mechanically/functionally, not morally. :P

At this point, no one knows which option is “best”. We don’t know what, if any, reprecussions there are from either choice.

I think all the Current Events stuff is designed so that we don’t really know what’s going on with it. The anomalies, and some other stuff, definitely seem to be tied to us messing around with bloodstones and unbound magic but we don’t know exactly what’s changed or what this ‘cure’ did or what the long-term effects of any of it will be.

I think you’d have to wait a long time to find out what the consequences are. It might even be like some of the character creation choices where it keeps coming up occasionally throughout the game.

For what it’s worth I picked the Priory because they’ve been a lot of help to my characters and a key part of the Pact, whereas I can’t remember any involvement with the Consortium that didn’t consider of them trying to make a quick buck and me having to clean up the inevitable mess.

If you choose the Priory, you get to keep the useless stone, have an increased chance of turning into an anomaly when entering a rift and your anomaly model turns red, possibly referencing Primordius.

If you choose the Consortium, a new useless krait oil will be offered, the prices will be discounted and your anomaly model turns blue, possibly referencing Jormag.
