Burrowed Worms are a bit OP
I think that’s part of an event in that area, isn’t it?
Burrowed worms can’t be hit. Dodge them to recover golem parts.
I’m both aware that they are part of the event, and that you can dodge them…
It does not stop 3 * 12k hits being a bit… mean if they can sort of sneak up behind you.
With MF set on, they literally 1-shot me.
It’s a little bit funny.
“They’e called Graboids!”
Yeah, they 2-shot me usually but sometimes 1-shot me. It’s annoying because even after popping defensive abilities and using up both my dodges, I can only recover 1-3 golem parts before either dieing or, if I’m lucky, getting out alive. They definitely deserve a nerf, the event isn’t as fun as it could be. If they killed you in 3-4 shots I’d be okay with that.
Yea, I usually just skip right past that event. I like pressure events, but not events that create that pressure by demanding absolute perfection in movement, especially considering the tiny little reward you get for tolerating the annoyance of having to constantly spin the camera.
Somewhat novel idea, but I don’t think it really works.
It’s a crappy event. About the only reason worth doing it is the really nice power/toughness/vitality karma trinkets he sells once you complete it.
is that the pit of death in the new zone

“They’e called Graboids!”
Or if you have played the Dune games before, the anti-worm techniques in the show and game works here, which is basically stay off the sand (I guess at this point people will start to realize that area do have alot of small rocks/crates scatter all over the place).
Yeah the event lost its charm when i got two shot on my warrior, i haven’t bothered since its not worth the Armor repairs to do it, find some other event and do it instead..
To be honest the whole island still leaves a bad taste in my mouth lol…
try walking without rythm
Whenever I went out there, there was someone claiming it was bugged or were simply complaining about it. Mind you, I havn’t seen anyone do that event since the first week. It only takes 7 parts to solo it, making it pretty quick.
For the wurms, you just walk around them. As long as they don’t touch you, they won’t come out. If they didn’t 1 shot you, their movement speed would have to be increased, forcing you to utilize the objects around the area.
