Butterfly wings are in the gem shop, 500 gems!

I just wish you could dye them. They are pretty, but the purple unfortunately does not fit my color scheme (and my taste)

Happy about the wings. Waited forever it feels like.

Still wish the yellow was a light blue. It’s such a prominent bright color.

I am working to get this now.

Oh, and I was so happy about those I didn’t even notice, the Creepy Mini 3 Pack is also available — Mad King Head, Candy Corn Skritt, Glowing Bat. 500 gems. Also the Permanent Mad King Finisher 500 gems, if that wasn’t there before.

A lot of people enjoy helping others get the things they want. It is not guaranteed, but it is entirely possible that someone would be interested in gifting you the wings if you share your desire for and inability to afford them just now in that thread.

Would love to see some dye channels on some of these back pieces though.

I am curious if Friday they will have some special items in the Gem store due to HoT and Halloween. I am holding tight to my gems.

Not sure I’ve done it "properly", but since I’ve been using carapace armor for a while on my mesmer, I gave it a go. I like it, but it may be gaudy.

I might stop using the Exemplar outfit for a bit now, despite how much I like that look.

Sadly, all back pieces, much like all weapons, cannot be dyed as armor can be.
We must accept the colors that they offer them in and buy/use it, or be deterred from buying/using it due to its restrictive nature.

So how long until we see The Monarch cosplay?

My sylvari necro. I have an order on the TP for Sapphire dye as I am hoping it might match the blue on the tips of the wings. I will use it instead of the darker purple if I get it at my price.

Often in life, Orangensaft, you have to adapt yourself to a situation and not expect it to change to suit you

They’re lovely.

I posted before that I think they would look nice (and would be more versatile) with rainbow colours on a black background, but they’re still really pretty as they are.

They work well with the Profane outfit, as it has a piece of fabric, at the back, that sits between the wings and looks a bit like the butterfly’s body.
