Guild Wars 2

I just recently purchased gems to get a makeover kit, so that I could change some features on my charr. I noticed the new faces, and decided to use one of them. During this I had my armor hidden, and didn’t think to check for clipping issues. After accepting the changes I noticed the new face clips through the T3 helm, which kinda ruins it for me. I contacted support for a gem refund and was told they cannot refund the gems and to file a bug report. I just wanted to provide the community with a warning regarding the issue.

The new(ish) female fluffy face (Lynx like one) has issues with anything with eye holes…..and the aquabreathers. I mostly keep her helm hidden because of the issues with that.

This is where you want to post these kinds of issues. They do take care of them, a few fixes roll out each patch.

Yeah I’m going to file the bug report also. I just think it’s kinda shady they don’t refund the gems so you can redo the process. If they do fix the clipping though I will be happy.

This is not acceptable , after viewing your post I feel as if the Guild Wars 2 support should 100% refund you due to this matter. I am extremely upset of this and will now result in playing League of Legends due to THIS. If the Guild Wars 2 support team does not fix this exact issue I will not return… My charr does not look correct due to this action.

Well, Charr can’t do helmets. At all. Have you seen the whisper agents? They look like nurses with medical masks, only with humps.

This was actually complained about a lot when it came out. That’s why I didn’t get it for my charr, though I usually don’t use helmets to begin with. You should always check bug reports and such when new stuff comes out for charr, since they have so many clipping issues with armor and faces. -.-

That said, it’s really kittenty that they refused to refund the gems, considering you can’t always see clipping issues in the makeover kit window…especially since they hardly ever fix these things for charr.

Yeah, I should have looked for bug reports. I just thought I was safe considering it is T3 Cultural armor, the armor specifically designed for our race lol. Oh well it’s really not a huge deal just wanted to let people know that they won’t refund for that reason.
