Hi forum-folk,

I was trying to pick up a copy of GW for a friend, but wasn’t sure how to do it. From what I’ve seen, payment information is saved to the account, which might cause issues!

Is there a way to simply purchase an account without having the payment information saved to the account? Or does that information not get bound to the account when it’s created at all..?

I dunno! Halp. Pls.

I’m not sure, besides buying a physical copy of the game. Hopefully you figure out a way to take advantage of the $19.99 price tag. It’s seriously a smoking deal.

You could buy them a box copy and give it to them. That’s what I’ve done in the past.

But I prefer having a hard copy of my games or some reason. I’m old fashioned…

If you are referring to Guild Wars 2, you can purchase a copy of the game, and just send/give your friend the CD-Key, and he/she can register the game. Nothing about your purchase will be saved in their game account.

In fact, only the actual game account user can register and play the game, to comply with the EULA/ToS.

Good luck.
