Guild Wars 2

Quick question: I want to buy GW2 as a gift for a friend but she lives in America where as I am in England. The digital copy is considerably more expensive for me so I want to get the hard copy to send to her, do I need to buy the American version or will the European version work for her?

you want to get her the American one, I think theres something about it being locked to severs ((even though she can play on the European severs as well)) but she needs an american copy to play in America

and ignore the Trolls that will inevitably show up in here
