I want to buy Zhaitaffy off the trading post to turn into some of the candy, but the second half of that is so incredibly tedious that I don’t think I’d be able to do it for longer than a minute without wanting to tear my mouse hand off. So I thought “hey maybe I should get a program to click for me!”, but I dunno if that’s going to get me banned.

From the Rules of Conduct:

20. You may not use any third-party program (such as a “bot”) in order to automate gameplay functions, including playing, chatting, interacting, or gathering gold or items within Guild Wars 2. You may not assist, relay, or store gold or items for other players who are using these processes.

Acceptable workaround for a lack of a multi-buying command, or bannable offense? Are there any posts elsewhere that allow or disallow doing this?

Buying the Zhaitaffy off the trading post and then using that Zhaitaffy to buy candy at the vendor. Apologies for not making that clear.

But I’m afraid I still think it would come under “bannable offense”.

OMFG, why not ask for a quantity menu to be added to vendors instead of trying to invent some crappy out of the game program !

Thanks for that. That second one’s interesting; it reads like I could just leave something on my keyboard key of choice and have it click as part of the keyboard options, like when you hold down the a key and you get aaaaaaa, though I’m not sure. Science time~
