Hey,

I’m not sure if anyone’s bothered to suggest this idea yet, but it would be a big help and time saver if there was a default reset [button] somewhere on the character creation OR Total Makeover Kits to reset all gender/physical/head/hair/facial sliders.

Why there isn’t one already from the time it was first introduced is beyond me and really seems like a complete oversight. But it would be a big time saver and much needed QoL function to an already helpful item.

As a possible addition, perhaps a [Save as Default] button that saves a current face/makeover setting until you override it back to default by manually set settings to default and saving over.

Aside from that, I’d be content with just having a Default Reset button instead of having to go to each individual slider and setting it back and spending ~10mins + just to restart on all sliders.

Anyone else agree?

“Default reset” isn’t at all useful to me. I can just restart the process to go back to default.

What I’d rather have is what BDO (and other games have) which is “save my current state”. So I can see if I like a variation better and, if I don’t, return to where I was; I have no interest in starting over.

Because unless you start a completely new character, all those little sliders on the total makeover kits don’t reset. They never did for me anyways.

I’m saying I don’t mind starting the character over. I do mind finding something close to right and not being able to save it during the current character’s creation (even better: saving it to use later, so I can sleep on the decision).

The way you described it a ‘default reset’ would be useless to me. If it only moved the sliders back to the middle and kept everything else (body type, face, hair style, skin colour etc.) with what you’ve currently selected then it would be very useful because it would enable me to quickly compare different faces without worrying that it’s the sliders that make them look weird.

But if it reset everything else then all it means is instead of manually moving the sliders then comparing faces I push the button, manually restore all my other choices and then compare faces.

But I’d love the option to save a character design. That would allow me to pick out a new face, play with the sliders and then quickly compare to what I had. Or pick something that looks good, save it and keep experimenting and then go back easily if I can’t find anything better.
