CAUTION - accounts thieves
Here’s a clue “We will investigate into this case”….. not really proper grammar is it ?
And yet here you are posting the very same link?
This is a known scam, we have literally new threads about it every single day. It even says that it is not from ArenaNet in the mail.
Remove the link before someone presses it. And if you have pressed it (which I assume since you have screenshot of the page) make sure to scan your computer for malware/viruses and change the passwords on your email and game account.

Sometimes you have to wonder who is really posting these ‘warnings’. /smh

^^ This please, it would suck for something to go wrong
1. You will have to type the whole address to see it wich is pretty stupid. If Anet whould have in-game mailed it it should have been a clickable link.
2. The in-game mail from Anet always have a Anet sigil that only Anet employes can make. These scam mails do not have them.
3. If I would have been so dumb to get fooled so far to actually getting to this page that you have posted I would have been very worried when they ask for the serialcode, Email and Character name. That is something they should ask you when you request something in their support page. People who get banned never gets a warning, you can appeal to it after you got banned and not before.
4. Posting the link like OP have feels even more dangerous that this ingame mail.
I can’t understand how people get’s fooled this way.

I’d remove the link before you get infracted OP.

This post has already been reported so when Anet gets into the office (aka a mod) they will be able to remove the link in the post if the OP doesn’t do it first.
RIP City of Heroes
I received a malicious link in an email that could lead to malware, spyware, and other unwanted goodies. By the way, everyone, here’s the link!
. . .
ITT: OP warns about a possible scam webpage, and yet at the same time makes it more accessible.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
kitten , are your seriously posting that same link here?
i dont know what u guys r complaining about the link, i got this free program called trojan.exe and am installing it now

Two other huge gotchas:
1) it is not a guildwars2.com domain
2) login pages should be https:
Like others above have stated, remove the link so people who click on it dont fall for it. It is like finding a new exploit and make a detailed video of and post it here.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
I really think ANet need to put the “this mail is from another player” message at the top of mails in giant red all caps or something, because how often this gets brought up utterly baffles me, is it really that missable?

This time it isnt from an ingame mail but on a site. But yeah i know what you mean.

Even then you can be sure there would be people stupid enough to miss it

Actually the link is from an in-game mail. The op simply copied it (manually) and posted it here.

Hey do give credit where credit is due, kinda impressive that the OP did manage to copy that god-aweful complicated link without errors :P

Which, to be fair, makes the post even more suspicion. Especially considering that the OP have posted very little before and never since.

If you encounter in game mail with the link below, be careful. It is a scam that will make you lose access to your account.
What was the clue? The “sjs9-3sv4.pw” domain?

.pw = Palau.
Of course the problem is to many people are ignorant about high level domains as well as making URLs that “seem” like they are coming from a legitimate source. PCs are still too complicated for the average user. They aren’t kid proof consoles.
Microsoft is calling their new browser in Win 10 Edge so the icon will still be a stylized “E”. Why? Because too many people have been taught to double click the “E” to get to the Internet. That is the depth of knowledge phishers expect from players so they can pull off stuff like this.
ANet has tried to warn players about this. There is only so much they can do.

Seriously? That’s funny.
Why are they giving up the “Internet Explorer” name?

Bad rep about it being a bloated, security lax, ignoring W3C standards, etc. It did improve in it’s later years but the damage has been done. It’s the reason that IE has less than 25% of the worldwide browser share (under 30% in the US) even though it’s baked into Windows.
Microsoft simply didn’t want to lose anymore users by calling it Spartan or another name that didn’t start with “E” which could confuse users who couldn’t be bothered downloading Chrome or Firefox (or Opera for tech savvy Hipsters).
