I am beyond excited for the new bit of knowledge we will receive later this week to the point where I can’t contain myself.

I have and will always be a big game supporter buying endless amounts of the gems that easily break the $1000 mark.

I have a plan to buy enough gold in hopes for new legendary weapons so the only question I have left is….

Can we get a discount on new character slots in preparation for the new race and profession?

Whoa there slow down, it doesn’t say anywhere that we are getting a new race and/or profession…(doesn’t say we aren’t either though) but presenting things like this as facts isn’t the right thing to do.

Expectations are running very high. I’m no prophet but I see many tears falling on the 24th.

If this is an upcoming expansion and if they add new race/professions, I guarantee they’ll give an extra character slot for free upon purchase of said expansion just like they did in gw1.

Unless I am misinterpreting this—— I just might be misunderstanding it.

“Can’t make it to PAX? We have something special for you to enjoy from home. We’ll be rewarding double XP to players all weekend. We’re also offering 15% off experience boosters, for an extra burst of XP! Level up an existing character or explore a new race and profession with a new one. Either way, you’ll level up faster than ever.”

However I don’t think they throw the word NEW around twice in the same sentence so lightly.

into > Level up a new character with a new race and profession.

The double-exp is for the weekend, there is 0 change HoT will be out this weekend. If it is an expansion or even an LS season, it will take until summer to be released.

They are probably talking about starting a new character. The way they said was just way of fancy speech.

@Johnathan Ralston, Yes you are reading too much into it. They are talking about XP boosts for what is currently in game during the promotion. If it is indeed an X-pac coming up with new races and professions that will occur long after this promotional period.
